Mackenzie began her journey to better health following a cancer diagnosis at the age of 16. With this diagnosis came a heart condition, chronic migraines, and hormone imbalances. After winning her fight, and years of struggling with thyroid imbalances, she learned the key to whole health resides inside us all, and set forth on her path to support others on this same journey.

Mackenzie is passionate about helping others discover their inner strength and happiness with holistic, sustainable lifestyle changes that honor the whole person. She completed her Bachelors of Kinesiology in Exercise Science in 2017, working with humans in a range of environments including high sports performance, clinical rehabilitation, individuals with diverse abilities, mental health and youth. Following her clinical and sports performance work, Mackenzie began her journey of deepening her own Yoga practice, and completed her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training and 20HR Yin Yoga certification.

With continued practice, Mackenzie recognized the deep rooted teachings of Yoga, and the profound impact it has to change the physiology of our body and resilience of our nervous system.

Combining her love for movement and inward work, Mackenzie began her journey to become a Yoga Therapist in 2021. She has since completed her 500 RYT certification and continues to work towards completing her diploma in Yoga Therapy.

Mackenzie understands her purpose is to support all those who seek a quiet space to land and rekindle their relationship back to Self. She aims to provide an environment that is safe, inclusive, and open for every student to tune inward and rediscover what it FEELS like to be safe, resilient, and most importantly, compassionate to yourself
