Elizabeth Giesbrecht
Liz began practicing yoga in her living room upon invitation by a roommate. Drawn to the combined movement and breath work, several months of home practice led Liz to volunteer a few hours weekly at a nearby studio in exchange for admission to classes. In the years that followed, Liz continued her postural practice with great admiration of the physical, mental, and spiritual consequences.
Keen to learn more about the foundational philosophy and spiritual practices of yoga, Liz pursued teacher training. She completed her Vinyasa and Hatha training at Coastal Bliss Yoga in Tofino. Liz aims to create a comfortable studio space where students can cultivate curiosity, focus, and strength without striving.
Outside of the studio you can often find Liz making coffee, journalling, crocheting, or playing outside.
