Join Mackenzie for her first Yoga Therapy 5 week offering. Mackenzie is a certified 200hr YTT (soon to be 500hr), Kinesiologist and Yoga Therapist Student. This series is offered as a piece of her practicum.
We invite you to open your body, mind and spirit to wellness. Finding space in your busy day to slow down sometimes feels impossible until we step on our mat. But what if you could learn to bring those tools we practice in the studio into your other daily activities? Building awareness of when we become activated and having a practice you can lean in to during those challenging times

Happy Back Therapeutic Yoga Series

If you suffer from occasional low back pain, this therapeutic yoga class is for you! Studies of
hatha yoga and back pain show that gentle core strengthening and spinal flexibility exercises can significantly reduce the reoccurrence of back pain. In this class, we will work on strengthening the musculature that supports the spine as well as releasing hips, hamstrings, and shoulders. This class includes an educational component so you will get to know your body better and learn how you can help yourself continue to feel good in it. Motion is lotion for your spine, keep it feeling great with this gentle movement class. No previous yoga experience is required.
